Driving: from the West

I'm easily accessible from the Western suburbs.

  1. Take route 9 East towards Brookline.
  2. Turn Left on Cypress Street, Brookline; this is the second traffic light (with a left turn lane) after passing the Brookline Reservoir, which is itself right after Chestnut Hill Ave.
  3. After the second traffic light on Cypress (they are close together), take the next left onto Goreham Ave.
  4. At the end of Gorham Ave., is Greenough Road. Turn Right.
  5. Turn right again onto Stanton Road. The entrance to 40 Stanton is a walk on the near side of the first white multifamily building on the right.

...from Boston/Cambridge

Mass. Ave. to Beacon Street, then west to Kenmore Square, or Storrow Drive to Kenmore Square.

  1. From Kenmore Square, take Beacon Street, West (outbound, away from downtown).
  2. You'll notice the Green Line (C/Beacon) trolley tracks on your left. Turn Left onto St. Paul Street (either the second or third intersection with a reserved left lane/left arrow) after you see the tracks. Landmarks: Brookline Holiday Inn on right, Jae's on the left.
  3. Follow St. Paul to it's apparent end, bear right onto Aspinwall Avenue. Continue through the traffic signal, Aspinwall turns into School Street.
  4. At the next square, bear right onto Washington Street (at the CVS).
  5. Turn at the second left (usually marked by an orange ("don't hit the") pedestrians crossing barrel) onto Greenough Road.
  6. Turn at the next Left onto Stanton Road. The entrance to 40 Stanton is a walk on the near side of the first white multifamily building on the right.

...from the North/Mass Pike

From the northwest, or the 'Pike. Mass Pike to Allston, then onto Cambridge Street, or N. Harvard Street from Harvard Square onto Cambridge Street (Right).

  1. Head West towards Allston on Cambridge Street.
  2. Turn Left onto Harvard Ave. Follow through Coolidge Corner, Brookline (Harvard Ave. becomes Harvard Street in Brookline).
  3. After passing the Stop and Shop in Brookline, turn Right at the next traffic light, onto School Street.

Take the

Almost always easier than the other options...

  1. Green Line, D-Riverside train to Brookline Hills (then see the neighborhood map).
  2. After getting off the train, you'll be facing a large playing field with a playground. Look for an asphalt path going straight through this playground.
  3. Take the path, then continue straight in the same direction for two more blocks (the street you are on will jog left at the end of the first block.)
  4. At the end of the second block, when faced with a left-or-right decision, turn left. That's Stanton Road.
  5. 40 Stanton is the second large white multifamily building on the left. The entrance is on the far end of that building - i.e., look for the walkway/porch after passing the second building.

Of course, call with any questions.
